Taking Vixiomatic to Japan

Penang, 27 June 2026 – Fulkrum in partnership with KANAZ Holdings Sdn Bhd, recently concluded a working visit to Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, from 22–27 June 2026 to explore opportunities for its safety-management and worksite-monitoring solutions in the Japanese market. KANAZ supported the engagement through local coordination, business matching and industry connections.

The visit included a business-matching session with Mr. Takamitsu Umehara, President of Nishimi Corporation, followed by discussions with Mr. Hideo Miki, Executive General Manager and Deputy Manager, Head of Offshore Wind Construction, Penta-Ocean Construction, Mr. Keizo Nemoto, CEO of DataSecure, and Mr. Ootake, Head of Procurement, Resources, Energy & Environment Business at IHI Corporation.

The discussions focused on construction-site safety, worker monitoring, location visibility, heat and health risks, and worksite management. The engagements also provided valuable insights into Japanese market expectations, particularly the importance of practical use cases, proven application records and clearly demonstrated safety benefits.

The Japan visit marks an important step in strengthening Japan–Malaysia technology and business connections, while enabling Fulkrum / Vixiomatic to better understand industry needs and identify potential collaboration and pilot opportunities.

Through the partnership with KANAZ Holdings, Fulkrum / Vixiomatic will continue developing Japan-focused solution materials and engaging relevant industry stakeholders to explore opportunities for smart safety and tracking technologies in construction and other worksite environments.
