Shenzhen, China, 10 –14 November 2025, Fulkrum was selected to participate in the DeepTech Exposure Visit to Shenzhen, China, organised by Digital Penang, together with seven Malaysian startups.Through the programme, Fulkrum gained exposure to developments in deep technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, advanced manufacturing, and technology commercialisation, while engaging in knowledge exchange and industry learning within the Malaysia-China innovation landscape.
The programme brought Fulkrum together with other selected Malaysian startups and representatives from technology companies, innovation hubs, universities, and ecosystem organisations. Throughout the visit, host organisations shared insights on innovation journeys, startup growth, ecosystem development, and international industry engagement.
As part of the programme, Fulkrum engaged with technology companies including SROD Robotics, Formlabs, WDC Robots Innovation Intelligence Co., Ltd., and Zhuoshi (Shenzhen) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. These sessions provided exposure to robotics applications, AI-driven solutions, intelligent hardware, professional 3D printing, and real-world technology use cases.
The programme also included a startup exchange and B2B engagement session at TusStar, an academic visit to Tsinghua University, and participation in the Shandong Enterprises Going Global 2025 International Procurement Matchmaking Conference at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Centre, offering insights into market access, procurement needs, and industry engagement, particularly within the new energy and energy storage sectors.
Participation in the DeepTech Exposure Visit supported Fulkrum in gaining first-hand exposure to global innovation practices, understanding technology scaling and commercialisation pathways, and broadening perspectives on international market engagement.
This initiative reflects Digital Penang’s continued efforts to support startup growth through international exposure and ecosystem development. Fulkrum shared its appreciation to Digital Penang for the opportunity to take part in the DeepTech Exposure Visit, noting that the programme offered valuable exposure to advanced technologies and practical industry insights.
