| Penang, 14 February 2025 – Fulkrum Interactive Technology Sdn Bhd hosted a visit from WorldSkills Malaysia (WSM) under the Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK) for an industry collaboration training session focused on the Web Technologies skill area.The visit was part of Malaysia preparation for the WorldSkills ASEAN Philippines 2025, aimed at strengthening the country digital capability through closer cooperation between training institutions and industry experts. |
Mrs Manisa, Director of Fulkrum Interactive Technology, shared insights on current industry trends and practical training methods in web technology. She emphasized the importance of bridging education and industry, saying, “Collaborations like this ensure young talents are trained with tools and standards used by the industry today. We are proud to support Malaysia journey towards excellence at the WorldSkills ASEAN 2025 competition.”
A representative from WorldSkills Malaysia expressed appreciation for the collaboration, stating that “Fulkrum involvement brings valuable real world expertise to our competitors training, helping Malaysia raise its standards in international skills competitions.”
This collaboration marks an important step in connecting technical training with real industry practice, helping Malaysian youth gain future ready digital skills. It strengthens the training in Web Technologies, a key skill area for Malaysia growing digital economy, and supports the goals of Malaysia National TVET Policy, which promotes stronger cooperation between training institutions and industry players.
