As the company is moving away from merely benefiting shareholders to enriching all the stakeholders, the team constantly find ways to contribute to the society to expand their work values beyond the professional boundaries. Focusing on increasing the employability of graduates in the technology field, our CSR programs are catered for learning institutions to better equip their students with real-industry skills and tools.
CURRENT PROGRAM
2022
Politeknik Seberang Perai
For our post MCO community outreach initiatives, the team conducted a 1-day sharing & workshop focusing on the Bootstrap framework. Selected 30 students and lecturers were given tasks in groups and presented them, while we slip in some insight on working in the industry.
Since 2018
Institut Latihan Perindustrian (ILP) Prai
After 2 years conducting our CSR with the high schools, starting 2018, our program is being held with a tertiary-level institution, Institut Latihan Perindustrian (ILP) Prai, Pulau Pinang. This time, the approach is more long-term, creating a sustainable smart partnership that aims to bridge the classroom knowledge of ILP students and the real-world skills.
As part of this partnership, routine class-like sessions are being held, along with the company directors sitting in the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for its Diploma program.
Selected teaching staffs from the Computer System department will also work with the team from time to time as part of their industrial attachment training.

Secondary Schools
SMKA Al-Irshad
The 2017 CSR program was conducted in SMKA Al-Irshad, Pokok Sena, Pulau Pinang. Delivering fresh modules for students of 30, we were focusing on a new exposure by introducing Cyberpreneurship as a main subject for the session.
Students are exposed more to business and marketing, and how they can associate technology with their innovative ideas which can be a product or services. Students are also defined as an entrepreneur, developing good ideas by creating products or services that can affect the targetted market.
We hope that the outcomes from this program can motivate the students in the future.
Sekolah Menengah Sains Kepala Batas
As part of the company’s serious commitment to contribute towards the local community, Fulkrum Interactive launched its maiden Corporate Social Responsibility Program – Sekolah Angkat 2016.
Sekolah Menengah Sains Kepala Batas was chosen as the first school in this program, where each month our team members will provide a free programming class to selected students.
The aim of this program is to reduce the gap between student’s classroom theory and the actual challenges facing them in the real IT world. It also exposes Fulkrum’s employees to soft skill developments and a bigger sense of purpose.
