The journey from the start

From multimedia development to a software powerhouse.

Founded in 2008 by Mohd Izzat, Fulkrum Interactive began as a freelance interactive application developer in the Malaysian Animation Creative & Content Center (MAC3) in Cyberjaya, developing both in-house mobile apps and websites for its clients.

From a couple of mobile apps for iOS, he ventured into website design and later, with the help of an experienced HR practitioner Manisa and his programming mentor Ridhwan, started expanding the team and doing web application development. They made Penang their home in 2014 as a strategic move to capture the northern talent pool.

Now the team operates as a group of companies in digital transformation, IT solutions and trainings & tradings under the following names:

Moving into full fledge software development, the attention to crafting an effective user experience is still part and parcel of every development project. Delivering a smooth front-end user experience relies heavily on an effective back-end design, so the team actively adopts the latest technology to ensure the most practical solution is delivered to the clients.

MILESTONES

Notable marks throughout the years

2008

Founded as freelance interactive design business, incorporated a year later

2009

Awarded MDeC’s Pre-Seed Fund to develop and release mobile applications for iOS

2010

 

Released the first mobile apps, Arabic Letters for Apples’s iPhone and later, iPad

2012

Completed the first web development project for government agency, achieving target for MGPWA rating

2014

 

Set up the office and team in Penang, began IT project management consulting shortly followed by software development team

2017

Established an IT startup to research and develop specialised software for transportation industry

2018

 

Awarded Penang iSeed 4.0 fund by the Penang’s State Government to commercialise TranSoluxion, a transportation operations management Software-As-A-Service

2021

Moved to a new 2-floor office in Pusat Bandar Bertam Perdana. Established Fulkrum Commerce Sdn. Bhd. to consolidate all B2C operations.

2023

 

Launched Vixiomatic, the tracking, monitoring and alert solution for manufacturing and heavy industry

2024

Granted Training Provider (TP) certification by Human Resource Development Corporations (HRDC) to offer claimable trainings. Started to conduct several technical and team-building trainings for corporate clients.

2025

Awarded Application Service Provider (ASP) license from MCMC, offering connectivity services. Embarked on numerous IT network infrastructure projects.
