The Humble Web Begining
The Fulkrum team started as a personal project by Mohd. Izzat in December 2008 and later incorporated in Malaysia as Fulkrum Interactive Media Sdn. Bhd. Since its inception, Izzat moved Fulkrum slowly from being a part-time endavour into a full-time commitment, concentrating on building websites and blogs.
When Izzat met Ridhwan, the team started working from the Malaysian Animation and Creative Content Center (MAC3) incubator in the Cyberjaya’s Multimedia Super Corridor during which the team put a focus on developing an iOS game engine.
The Love for iOS Apps
In 2009, we were awarded the Technoprneur Pre-Seed Grant from Malaysian Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC) to develop an iOS game title revolving around tactical-management genre.
During the endeavor Izzat decided to churn some side projects in order to gain a foothold in the iOS market, hence the release of several light educational apps for iPhone and iPad.
Keeping It Small And Simple
Moving into the future, Fulkrum relies on a network of talented designers and programmers, and prefer to keep the team small and focused on delivering ideas and solutions.
We’re now working together with several entrepreneurs to bring the company to a new experience.
By standard definition we love to work remotely but we convene daily to work some stuffs face to face.
Izzat, Director of Business & Web Chief
The lead consultant and project captain. Also develops iOS apps between our web projects. Educated in Business Marketing, self-taught in everything else.
Ridhwan, Partner & Mobile Chief
The muscle for mobile projects. Experienced developer and founder of another mobile-oriented startup, Studio Caterpillar. Computer science in education.
Sufyan, Illustrator
The artistic prowess. Educated in the US of America. Another member from Studio Caterpillar, he is our go-to-guy for designing characters and logo works.
Manisa, Operation
The management asset. Experience in Human Resource, and vastly needed to keep pushing us around. Educated and trained in Business Management.
